What is RSS?

RSS, which is the acronym for Really Simple Syndication, is a popular method for distributing Web content that changes frequently. Such web content includes news headlines, sports or general web announcements. Using RSS, Web content providers can easily create and deliver feeds of data such as news links, headlines, and summaries.
